HSS-XE step drills, sheet and tube drills
Karnasch HSS-XE step drills and HSS-XE sheet and tube drills are available in spiral or straight fluted versions. The special 3 surface shank provides excellent torque transmission, no slipping in the chuck and thus enables a significantly higher cutting performance.
All step drills, sheet and tube drills are available in the special BLUE-DUR coating or in TiN-GOLD coating. Tool coatings significantly increase tool life and are highly recommended for difficult materials such as stainless steels and for drilling without lubricant oil / cutting oil.
All step drills, sheet and tube drills come with lasered diameters in the spiral and are made of high alloy HSS-XE steel - for a hardness up to 68 HRC.
